If some one can get in touch with Cyndy (Ma Bell) in a non-cell phone way, please ask her to dial *228 from her cell and hit option 1. After that, please ask her to dial *228 option 2.
Now.... boy did I (Nicole) screw up! So starting 2 weeks ago, I was in the shower and got my cell phone wet. I lost the functions of my 3 and 9 button. A team mate of ours lent us his palm pilot so I could switch phones until our contract was up and we would get a $200 credit towards upgrading. Well, today I tried to do just that. When I first switched the phones I was so proud of myself that I texted Darryl with a message that read "look I am texting from a palm pilot". When that text came back to the phone I was on I assumed I dialed the number incorrectly, then I received a phone call to clear things up 100%. It was someone looking for Guadalupe.... DArryl has been receiving phone calls for Guadalupe for 4 years. This is when I knew I had to change things back.
I got Darryls SN number and attempted to change it back when I notice that I have changed it for MA Bells phone. So at this moment I was in possession of my phone, Darryls Phone and Darryl has his moms phone. So I forget trying to do it on my own any longer and call Verizon back. This very pleasant woman changed all the numbers back for us without a blink of an eye and then reassured me that many people have done this and I am not the only one. Which made me feel better.....
Until she told me about the *228 ordeal, this is what seals the deal on the changes..... and this can not happen until Ma Bell does it to her phone, it is the beginning of the domino effect....
OK .... I admit it... I am not the most technically savey person there is..... but I am an explorer.... a failed explorere but an explorere non the less....
